ABET

ABET Training

In addition to the marine courses, Siyaloba also provides the ABET (Adult Basic Education and Training) course, which is the equivalent to a grade 9 qualification. ABET learning is both numeracy and Literacy based and is done through multimedia learning with material provided by Media Works.

There are four levels to complete with total duration being on average six months for both the Numeracy and literacy levels combined. .

Upon completion of a level and presentation of a Portfolio of Evidence, learners receive a nationally recognised certificate.
